We are looking for a reliable CNA/CMA(CMA for this job is a certified medication aide) to care for invalids and injured people in a professional and considerate manner. You will work under the supervision of a registered nurse or doctor. Medical professionals must be first and foremost qualified and compassionate. The ideal candidate will be experienced in providing diverse basic care to those who need it while remaining patient and calm. It is a demanding job but also very rewarding. Hotel
Job location is all over Nebraska Iowa, and Kansas only.
Responsibilities
- Will vary depending on the scope of practice but will be within the guidelines of the Nebraska/Iowa?Kansas State boards of Nursing
- Travel to new facilities-pick which ones you like
- Mileage pay to most facilities!
- Some facilities offering hotel accommodations.
- Relocation assistance is not provided at this time.
Skills
- Proven experience as a certified or licensed professional or similar role
- Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team
- Familiarity with hospital health, safety, and sanitation standards and procedures
- Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices
- Ability to work independently and help Vision continue its outstanding name.
- Excellent knowledge of medical and hospital terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and able to handle stress
- CNA/CMA must be certified in Nebraska, Kansas, or Iowa. (certification requirements will vary based on location)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Contract as needed
Pay: $3000-4000 per month
COVID-19 considerations: No vaccine requirements at this time. The only way we will require it is if they make us. All staff undergo rapid testing as per guidelines at each facility. Right now, Long term care facilities are one of the safest places to work in health care. Their residents need us.
